  • 1/2 tsp Chili powder
  • 1 Salt and black pepper
  • 2 tsp Sugar

• Oils & Vinegars

  • 1 tbsp Olive oil

Description

Ingredients

• 1 lb crushed tomatoes
• 1 tablespoon minced garlic
• 4 oz tomato paste
• 2 teaspoons sugar
• 1 tablespoon chopped, fresh basil
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 tablespoon chopped onion
• ½ teaspoon chili powder
• 2 teaspoons dried oregano
• Salt and black pepper to taste

Directions

• Sauté the onion and garlic in the olive oil for 5 minutes.
• Add the other ingredients except the basil.
• Simmer the sauce for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Add the chopped basil 5 minutes before the sauce is ready.
