Bacon and Brussels Sprouts Salad

  • 6 slices Bacon

  • 4 cups Brussels sprouts
  • 1 Lemon, Juice of

• Condiments

  • 1/4 cup Honey

• Baking & Spices

  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper, ground
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher salt

• Oils & Vinegars

  • 2 tbsp Champagne vinegar or white wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil

  • 2 cups Premade broccoli slaw

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 1/4 cup honey
• 2 tablespoons champagne vinegar or white wine vinegar
• juice of one lemon
• 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 4 cups shredded brussels sprouts
• 2 cups premade broccoli slaw
• 6 slices bacon, cooked crispy and roughly chopped

Directions

• Prepare the vinaigrette:  In a small bowl, whisk together all of the vinaigrette ingredients; set aside. Assemble the salad:  In a large bowl, toss together the brussels sprouts and slaw so that everything is evenly distributed.  Add the chopped bacon, and then drizzle with the vinaigrette.  Toss again to incorporate.  Serve at room temperature or refrigerate 1 to 2 hours and serve it chilled.
