Bacon Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 tsp Cornstarch

  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup White sugar

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 sticks of butter, softened
• 3/4 cup light brown sugar
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 teaspoons cornstarch
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 4 slices of thick cut maple bacon, cooked crisp and chopped roughly
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup pretzels, chopped into pieces

Directions

• Preheat oven to 350 F.
• In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, mix butters and sugars until creamy.
• Stir in eggs, vanilla, salt, baking soda and cornstarch.
• Gradually stir in the flour, adding a little bit at a time.
• Fold in bacon, chocolate chips and pretzels.
• Place cookie dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
• Bake for 8-10 minutes.
• Cool for 3 minutes on the pan, then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
