Blood Orange Old Fashioned

  • 2 tsp Blood orange, fresh juice
  • 1 Blood orange, wedge

• Baking & Spices

  • 1/2 tsp Sugar

• Frozen

  • 1 Ice cubes, large

• Beer, Wine & Liquor

  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2 oz Whiskey

Description

Ingredients

• 2 ounces whiskey (I used Old Overholt Rye)
• 1/2 teaspoon sugar
• 2 teaspoons fresh blood orange juice
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• Blood orange wedge
• Large ice cube(s)

Directions

• Place the sugar in the bottom of an glass. Add the bitters and blood orange juice and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add the whiskey and ice, and stir gently. Garnish with the blood orange wedge.
