Christmas Cookies in a Jar

  • 1 Egg

• Baking & Spices

  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup White sugar

• Dairy

  • 1/2 cup Butter

• Other

  • 1 cup Red & green smarties (or m&m's

Description

Ingredients

• 1 cup flour
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ½ tsp salt
• 1 cup red & green Smarties (or M&Ms)
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ¼ cup white sugar
• ½ cup butter, slightly melted
• 1 egg, slightly beaten
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

• Pack ingredients in order above into jar.
• Add Christmas fabric, if desired on top of jar lid.
• Add label on top & screw on lid.
• Decorate with ribbon or bakers twine if desired.
• Beat butter, egg, and vanilla until well mixed in medium mixing bowl.
• Add dry ingredients from jar into bowl and mix well (use your hands!)
• Roll into balls, place on baking sheets, bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
