Cinnamon Roll Cupcakes

Ingredients

• 1 package of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls
• 6 ounces of cream cheese softened
• 2 tablespoons butter room temperature
• 1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 tablespoon heavy cream
• 2 tablespoons butter room temperature
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 2 tablespoon cinnamon

Directions

• Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake tray with liners.
• Open the package of cinnamon rolls and separate the dough, placing one cinnamon roll per cupcake liner.
• Bake for 10-12 mins until cooked through. Top will be golden brown.
• Add ingredients into large mixing bowl. Mix starting on low speed for 2 minutes. Then mix on medium speed for an additional 3 minutes. Frosting will start to peak.
• In a smaller bowl add the ingredients, and mix together with a fork. It will form a paste type consistency.
• To create the swirl on the cupcakes I added the frosting to a piping bag, and then added the cinnamon sugar mixture to the side of the same piping bag. I used a Wilton 2D frosting tip. There is only a small amount of cinnamon sugar mixture, so it will be a small swirl when you frost the cupcakes.
