Ingredients

• 1 shot vodka, gin or rum
• 1 shot cranberry-thyme simple syrup
• 1 shot cranberry juice
• squeeze of lemon juice (I used half a small lemon)
• 2 shots gin
• 2 shots cranberry thyme simple syrup
• club soda
• squeeze of lemon
• ½ - 1 C. sugar*
• 1 C. water
• 1 C. fresh cranberries
• 5-10 sprigs thyme

Directions

• Combine vodka, cranberry simple syrup, cranberry juice and lemon juice in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into martini glass.
• Garnish with sprig of thyme or a few fresh cranberries.
• In tall glass filled with ice, add gin and cranberry thyme simple syrup. Top with club soda and a squeeze of lemon juice. Give it a stir and enjoy.
• Make simple syrup by combining sugar, water and cranberries in small saucepan. Bring to boil. Continue cooking while all the cranberries pop. Add thyme sprigs, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Cool, then strain. Store syrup in refrigerator, toss solids.
