Creamy Cinnamon Syrup is like pouring candy on your pancakes! This syrup takes breakfast from ordinary to special.

I live on a dairy with my husband and three boys. Although we are in the business of raising cattle, we really are in the business of raising boys. I am passionate about catching up with each other at meal times. My love language is food. And I hope that my men feel the love in every bite.

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
½ c. corn syrup
¼ c. water
1 t. cinnamon
8 oz. evaporated milk
1 t. vanilla

Directions

Combine sugar, corn syrup, water and cinnamon in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Simmer, stirring occasionally, for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add evaporated milk and vanilla.
Serve warm.
