Crock Pot Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

  • 1 lb Chicken breasts, whole

  • 1/2 tbsp Basil, dried
  • 2 Carrots, medium
  • 3 Celery stalks
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp Thyme, dried

  • 6 cups Chicken stock

• Pasta & Grains

  • 1 1/2 cups Penne noodles, dried mini

• Baking & Spices

  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Salt

  • 1 cup Heavy cream

Ingredients

• 3 celery stalks, diced
• 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
• 1 lb chicken breasts, whole uncooked
• 1/2 TBSP dried thyme
• 1/2 TBSP dried basil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 6 cups chicken stock
• 1 1/2 cups dried mini penne noodles
• 1 cup heavy cream

Directions

• Combine everything but the noodles and the cream in a crock pot and cook on high for three hours.
• After three hours, add the penne and cook for an additional half hour.
• Remove from the heat, shred the chicken, stir in the cream, and serve.
