    • 1 lb Ground turkey

    • 1 Onion, medium
    • 1 can Tomatoes, unsalted

    • 2 cups Beef broth, low sodium

    • 1 tbsp Chili seasoning, homemade
    • 1 Red pepper
    • 1 Salt

Directions

  • Brown the turkey over medium high heat.
  • Add the turkey and remaining ingredients to a slow cooker.  Cook on Low for 6-8 hours or High for 3-4 hours.  Adjust seasonings to taste.
  • Homemade Chili Seasoning Blend:  5 Tablespoons chili powder, 2 Tablespoons cumin, 2 Tablespoons garlic powder, 2 Tablespoons oregano, 1 Tablespoon paprika (or smoked paprika), 1 1/2 Tablespoons onion powder, 1 teaspoon black pepper, 2 teaspoons salt.  Store in a mason jar or tightly sealed container.
