Ingredients

  • 2.5 lb ground turkey
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 medium bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 6 oz cantomato paste
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 1.5 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup coconut aminos

Directions

  • Method 1:
  • Brown the ground turkey over medium heat.Place in slow cooker, add the remaining ingredients, plus ½ cup water, stir and cook on low for 3-4 hours.
  • Method 2:
  • Put all the ingredients in the slow cooker, mix very well (try to chop up the ground turkey as much as you can), put the cover on, and cook on low for 4-6 hours. Stir well before serving.
  • Serve over lettuce or your favorite buns.
