French Onion Rice

Description

A rich, baked rice dish made with French onion soup, beef broth, white rice, and butter. You can also add mushrooms if you wish.

Directions

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. In a 9x9 inch baking dish combine rice, soup and broth. Place butter slices on top of the mixture. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake 30 minutes more. Variation: add one 4 ounce can drained mushrooms.
