  • 2 large bananas, mashed
  • 1 egg
  • 4 oz unsweetened applesauce (can sub for dairy-free butter, melted)
  • 1/4 cup cane sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup gluten-free baking flour
  • 3 Tablespoons chocolate chips

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease bread pan.
  • In a medium bowl, mix bananas, egg, applesauce, sugar, salt,vanilla extract, baking soda, baking powder. Slowly whisk in flour.
  • Pour mixture into prepared pan, top with chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 30-32 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
  • Serves: 1 bread loaf
