    • 2 cups Cauliflower florets - i'm using, fresh
    • 1/4 cup Cilantro, leaves
    • 1/2 tsp Ginger
    • 1 Onion, small
    • 1 cup Peas, frozen
    • 2 Tomatoes - chopped into bite size pieces, Small
  • Baking & Spices

    • 1/2 tsp Curry powder - you can use garam masala too
    • 1/4 tsp Red chili powder - optional
    • 1/2 tsp Salt - use as per taste
    • 1 Spices
    • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • Oils & Vinegars

    • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • Liquids

    • 1 cup Water

  • 1 Small Onion - thinly chopped
  • 2 Small Tomatoes - chopped into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger - shredded
  • 1/4 Cup Cilantro Leaves - chopped
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil - or any light oil
  • 1 Cup Water
  • -- Spices --
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt - use as per taste
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Chili Powder - optional
  • 1/2 Tsp Curry Powder - you can use garam masala too

Directions

  • Cooking in Pressure Cooker:
  • Heat the pressure cooker and add oil.
  • Add onion, ginger and saute for a minute (till onion cooks and turn pink)
  • Add cauliflower, peas, spices and saute on high for a minute.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and saute for 3 minutes.
  • Now add tomatoes and saute for another 3 minutes on low heat (let tomatoes cook a little).
  • Add water and close the lid of the pressure cooker.
  • Let cook till you hear 3-4 whistles and turn off the heat.
  • Cool for a minute and transfer the cauliflower and peas to a serving bowl.
  • Sprinkle some fresh cilantro and serve hot.
  • Cooking in Pan:
  • Heat oil in a medium pan/pot.
  • Add onion, ginger and saute for a minute (till onion cooks and turn pink)
  • Add cauliflower, peas, spices and saute on high for a minute.
  • Reduce the heat to medium and saute for 3 minutes.
  • Now add tomatoes and saute for another 3 minutes on low heat (let tomatoes cook a little).
  • Add water and cover the pot/pan with lid.
  • Let cook for 3-4 minutes and turn off the heat.
  • Cool for a minute and transfer the cauliflower and peas to a serving bowl.
  • Sprinkle some fresh cilantro and serve hot.
