Directions

  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Whisk together eggs and half and half in a medium bowl. Dip both sides of each slice of bread in egg mixture and fry each side until golden brown (about 2 min on each side).
  • Remove french bread from skillet. Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on a slice of bread. Top with 3 pieces bacon, 2 slices lettuce, 2 slices tomato, and another slice of bread.
  • Repeat with remaining ingredients to make another sandwich.
  • Serve immediately.
