Homemade Baking Mix

• Baking & Spices

  • 1/2 cup Baking powder
  • 2 tsp Cream of tartar
  • 9 cups Flour
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 2 cups Shortening
  • 4 tbsp White sugar

• Dairy

  • 1 cup Nonfat dry milk

Ingredients

• 9 cups sifted flour
• 1 /2 cup baking powder
• 1 tablespoon salt
• 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
• 4 tablespoons white sugar
• 1 cup nonfat dry milk
• 2 cups shortening

Directions

• Sift together dry ingredients.
• Cut in shortening until it resembles coarse cornmeal.
• Store in airtight container and use like you would Bisquick.
• To measure mix, lightly put in cup and level.
• Do not pack.
