Homemade Vetiver Beard Balm

  • 2 oz Almond oil, Sweet
  • 2 drops Vetiver essential oil

  • 2 oz Shea butter

  • small tin (2–3 ounces or 2 2-ounce tins

Description

Ingredients

• 2 ounces Shea butter
• 1 ounce of Beeswax
• 2 ounces of sweet almond oil
• 2 drops vetiver essential oil
• small tin (2–3 ounces or 2 2-ounce tins)

Directions

• Place butter and beeswax into a small tin and place on a candle warmer. (A double boiler or pan on the stove over very low heat may also be used.)
• Watch ingredients closely to avoid overheating. Allow them to melt and blend together, stirring occasionally. Do not boil. Once solution is liquidy, remove from heat. Stir in almond oil and 1-3 drops essential oil, working quickly before balm solidifies. Stir until well blended. (If using a pan, pour balm into tins.)
• Allow balm to cool.
