Hot Roast Beef and Cheddar Sliders

Ingredients

  • Meat

    • 7 oz Roast beef
  • Condiments

    • 1 tsp Dijon mustard, heaping
    • 2 tsp Horseradish, heaping prepared
    • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise, heaping
    • 1 Recipe horseradish sauce
  • Bread & Baked Goods

    • 1 package Sweet rolls
  • Dairy

    • 2 tbsp Butter
    • 8 oz Cheddar cheese

Directions

  • Add the all the sauce ingredients to a small bowl and mix well
  • Set aside
  • Preheat oven to 350 and grease an 8x11, or similar, baking dish
  • Slice the sweet rolls in half (if theyre connected, its easiest to just slice as one piece as opposed to separating the rolls and slicing each one)
  • Add the bottom half to the baking dish and spread evenly with the sauce
  • Layer on the meat and cheese in even layers, then cover with the top half the rolls
  • Brush melted butter over the top of the rolls
  • Cover with tin foil
  • Bake for 15 minutes covered
  • Remove from oven and remove tin foil
  • Optional: Brush more butter over the top
  • Return to oven, uncovered, for 5 to 10 more minutes until the tops are crispy and the cheese is fully melted
  • Cut into pieces and serve immediately
  • Store leftovers in the fridge and microwave or use toaster oven to reheat
