Description

Ingredients

• 1½ cup sugar
• ½ cup water
• 6 marshmallows, cut into small pieces
• 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
• 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions

• Dissolve sugar and water over low heat
• Bring to a boil and boil without stirring until a small amount dropped in cold water forms a soft ball
• Remove from heat
• Add marshmallows and allow to melt
• Pour mixture slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites beating constantly
• Add lemon juice
