A three layer pound cake stuffed with fluffy whipped topping, sweet strawberries, and topped with a sprinkle of lemon zest.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Cake
  • 1 pint Strawberries (feel free to use more!)
  • 1 container Cool Whip (**you can use homemade whipped cream if you prefer. Do not use whipped cream from a can it will deflate too quickly!)
  • Zest of 1 lemon

Directions

  • Slice pound cake in half.
  • Add a layer of Cool Whip, a thick layer of sliced strawberries, and another layer of Cool Whip.
  • Place the top piece of pound cake and top with more Cool Whip and whole strawberries.
  • Sprinkle with lemon zest.
  • Enjoy!
