Description
Youre in for a chewy treat here: Were using puffed brown rice cereal instead of crisped rice cereal -- and the binding mixture of sugar, honey and the nut or seed butter of your choice is less sweet than the typical melted butter-and-marshmallow combination. Cut the slab into squares and you have perfectly respectable treats. But when you melt white chocolate and dip in a corner halfway, you just might be on your way to creating an elf wearing a white hat, which can be topped with coconut flakes or sprinkles, or colored with food coloring gel any way youd like. We used a bit of white chocolate to affix mini chocolate chip eyes. Make Ahead: The squares can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
