Rudolph Sugar Cookies

  • 2 Eggs, large

  • 4 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Almond extract
  • 1 Decorating cupcake icing, brown
  • 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
  • 1 Shimmer sugar, white
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

  • 1 Gingerbread man cookie cutter

  • 1 1/2 cups Butter, salted

  • 1 Candy eyes, small
  • 1 Chocolate coated candies, red

Ingredients

• 1.5 cups softened salted butter
• 1.5 cups granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon almond extract
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 large eggs
• 4½ cups all purpose flour
• gingerbread man cookie cutter
• brown decorating cupcake icing
• red chocolate coated candies
• small candy eyes
• white shimmer sugar

Directions

• Preheat your oven to 325° and line a baking sheet of parchment paper or grease with a non stick cooking spray.
• Beat your softened butter and sugar together.
• Now mix in your almond extract, vanilla extract, and egg.
• Mix in your flour one cup at a time until you have a thick dough.
• Knead the dough in your hands.
• Lay out a piece of parchment paper, flour the surface, and roll your dough out (keep a little thick).
• Use a your cookie cutter to cut your gingerbread men and place them on your baking sheet. You can keep them fairly close together as they should not spread.
• Bake for 10-12 minutes.
• Let cool and turn your cookies upside down to decorate.
• Dab a small amount of frosting onto the back of your candy eyes and red coated chocolate candies. Stick them onto the round part of the cookie as pictured.
• Now use your brown frosting to draw on antlers.
• Sprinkle the antlers with your shimmer sugar and enjoy!
