Sesame Roasted Asparagus is a healthy side dish that is ready in under 30 minutes, uses one pan and pairs with any protein.

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds asparagus spears, ends trimmed
  • 1½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced {about 2 cloves}
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • ½ teaspoon Sea salt

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • Place asparagus in large bowl and add olive oil and minced garlic; toss to combine. Arrange spears on large baking sheet and generously sprinkle with sesame seeds. Season with salt.
  • Place in oven for 15-20 minutes or until spears reach desired consistency.
  • They should still be a bit crisp. Remove from oven and transfer to serving plate to serve immediately.
