Slow Cooker Gooey Brownie Cake

  • 3 Eggs, large

• Baking & Spices

  • 1/3 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup Cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract

• Dairy

  • 1 1/2 sticks Butter melted plus extra butter, unsalted

• Frozen

  • 1 Ice cream to serve - any flavor will do

• Other

  • 2/3 cup Semisweet chocolate chunks or chips

Ingredients

• 1 ½ sticks unsalted butter melted plus extra butter for greasing foil
• 1 ½ cups of sugar
• 2/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
• 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
• 3 large eggs, lightly whisked
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chunks or chips
• Ice cream to serve – Any flavor will do

Directions

• Use aluminum foil to line the insert of a slow cooker then generously grease the foil with butter.
• Whisk melted butter, cocoa powder, eggs, sugar, flour, vanilla and ½ teaspoon salt in a bowl. Dancing is encouraged while whisking ingredients. Any type of music will do.
• Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks then scrape the batter into the insert in an even layer.
• Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. The cake will be set around the edges and gooey in the middle (Hence the name!)
• Serve cake warm and covered with ice cream flavor of your choice.
