Ingredients

• 1 metal picture hanger
• Acrylic Craft paints - orange, black and white
• Saw
• Hammer and nails
• Confectioners sugar

Directions

• Measure and cut the wood to make the slats for the snowmans body and also cut one piece to use as the brim of the snowmans hat. Also cut two small pieces to use as braces on the back of the body.
• Rub with some sand paper to smooth the edges and lay out the snowman pieces, face side down and use a large nail to space them. Nail the plywood braces in place 2 down from the top and bottom edges.
• Add a metal saw tooth picture hanger to the top brace.
• Cut a shorter piece of wood for the snowmans hat brim and angle the side edges. Paint the long wooden pieces white and the short one black and paint the top of the snowman black in the hat area.
• Nail the hat brim to the top of the snowman at the join of the black and white paint, on a slight angle. Use white craft paint to give the impression of bits of extra snow on the top of the hat and brim for an icicle look.
• Paint the snowman face, penciling it in first and then painting over the pencilling using the template as your design.
• Aa falling snow effect to the top of the hat with store bought fake snow or powdered sugar.
