1 package beef Smokies1 1/2 packages bacon, sliced in half1 cup dark brown sugar1/2 teaspoon cumin1/4 teaspoon chili powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.In a small bowl combine brown sugar, cumin, and chili powder; set aside.Wrap one piece on bacon (half a slice) around one Smokie and secure with a toothpick. Repeate for remaining Smokies and bacon until all Smokies are wrapped.Place Smokies in a 9″ x 13″ baking dish. Sprinkle with brown sugar mixture.Bake for 1 hour.Serve immediately, or put Smokies into a crock pot, pour pan juices over the top, and keep covered on WARM setting.Eat, die, and go to heaven. Seriously.
