Tomato Tortellini Alfredo

• Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks
  • 4 cups half & half
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder;
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 3 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2-3 tomatoes - diced
  • 1 large or 2 small packages refrigerated tortellini

• 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
• 4 cups half & half
• 1 tbsp garlic powder
• ½ tsp pepper
• ½ tsp salt
• 3 cups grated Parmesan cheese
• 2-3 tomatoes - diced
• 1 large or 2 small packages refrigerated tortellini

Directions

• In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter
• Add in garlic powder, half & half, salt & pepper
• Bring to a boil, reduce heat & simmer 6-8 minutes
• While simmering - boil tortellini to package directions - drain & set aside
• Remove sauce from heat & stir in cheese
• Return to heat 2-3 minutes to thicken
• Remove & add to cooked tortellini, add in tomatoes
• Stir to combine - serve immediately
