  • 1 Cup Basmati or Jasmine Rice
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 1 Teaspoon of Turmeric Spice
  • A Dab Or More of Salted Butter
  • A Dash of Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Heaping Of Chopped Cilantro
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of lime juice

Directions

  • Add 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water in a saucepan, bring to a boil. Add turmeric spice and butter. Cover pan with a lid, simmer for 17 to 18 minutes. Turn off heat. Transfer rice into a large serving bowl. Add ground black pepper. Add chopped cilantro. Add lime juice. Mix in to the rice and fluff altogether.
