Ingredients

  • Adapted from Whole Journey
  • 4 -5  cups spring water
  • 1-2   teaspoon turmeric powder (I used Frontier Co-op brand)
  • 1-2   teaspoon ground ginger powder
  • Lemon NuNatruals Stevia extract or Regular Stevia (20-40 drops or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice and any extra fresh lemon slices you want to add after
  • Optional - raw honey if you dont want to add stevia. 2-4 tbsp

Directions

  • Bring water to a full boil on the stove.  Add in your spices and let it boil again for a minute, then reduce and simmer turmeric for 10 minutes. Remove from the stove and let it cool a bit. Then strain the tea powder with a mesh strainer or cloth. Pour the rest of the liquid into a pitcher along with your sweetener of choice. Garnish with extra lemon slices and store in fridge.
