Best Cubed Steak

  • 4 Steaks

• Produce

  • 1 tbsp Onion powder
  • 1 Scallion

• Canned Goods

  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 1 Onion soup mix packet

• Baking & Spices

  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Eachsalt & pepper
  • 1 Gravy mix packet, Brown

• Liquids

  • 3/4 cup Water

Directions

• In a large Ziplock Bag, combine flour, onion powder, salt and pepper.
• Place each cubed steak in zip lock bag and coat with mixture.
• Heat oil in a deep frying pan over med-high heat.
• Brown each cubed steak.
• While cubed steak is browning - Combine brown gravy mix, onion soup mix, beef broth and water in your slow cooker and mix well.
• Place browned cube steak in the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours.
• Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
