Best Ever White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookie

  • 1/4 cup White sugar, granulated

Description

Ingredients

• 1 stick unsalted room temperature butter
• ¾ cup brown sugar
• ¼ cup granulated white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon ALMOND extract
• 1½ cups white flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons cornstarch
• 2.5 cups white chocolate chips
• 1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Directions

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees
• Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper
• Mix butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in mixer for 1-2 minutes.
• Add egg then almond extra until combined.
• Add flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt to mix.
• Add white chocolate chips and chopped macadamia nuts and gently mix.
• Roll cookie dough onto cookie sheet.
• Bake for 9-11 minutes until slightly brown on edges.
• (I often double the recipe)
