Coffee Brownies for Two

Description

Ingredients

• Brownie
• 1/4 cup flour
• 6 Tbsp cocoa powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1 tsp instant coffee
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 4 Tbsp butter, melted and cooled
• 1 egg, lightly beaten
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/3 cup pecans, chopped *optional
• Glaze
• 3 Tbsp powdered sugar
• 1/4 tsp instant coffee
• 2 tsp coffee creamer (I use Hazelnut)

Directions

• Preheat oven to 350.
• Combine flour, cocoa powder, salt, instant coffee, granulated sugar in a bowl and set aside.
• Whisk butter and egg in a separate bowl. Add vanilla extract.
• Add butter mixture to dry ingredient an stir until combined. Add pecans and stir until incorporated.
• Scrape into small loaf pan and spread evenly. Place in oven and bake for 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
• Meanwhile, make glaze by combining powdered sugar, instant coffee, and coffee creamer. Pour glaze over brownies. Enjoy 🙂
