Cranberry Orange Yule Mule

  • 1 1/2 cups Cranberries, fresh
  • 1 Optional - rosemary

• Condiments

  • 2 shots Cran-orange syrup
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup

• Drinks

  • 1 bottle Ginger beer
  • 2 tbsp Orange juice

• Frozen

  • 1 cup Of ice

• Beer, Wine & Liquor

  • 1 shot Vodka

• Liquids

  • 12 oz Water

Ingredients

• For The Cran-Orange Syrup:
• 12 oz of Water
• 1.5 cups of Fresh Cranberries (Im sure frozen would work, too)
• 2 tbsp of Orange Juice
• 1 tbsp of Maple Syrup
• For the Mule
• 2 shots of Cran-Orange Syrup
• 1 bottle of Ginger Beer (you wont use it all)
• 1 shot of Vodka
• 1 cup (or so) of Ice
• Optional - Rosemary

Directions

• Start by adding the cranberries, water OJ & maple syrup into a saucepan on high.
• Bring the pot to a boil, reduce heat to medium low and let this reduce for about 15 mins.
• Strain this into a mason jar or container.
• Once done, place in the fridge or freezer for a bit until it is cool or at least room temp.
• Place an orange slice and a handful of fresh cranberries into the bottom of a copper mug or glass. Muddle these by pressing down on the fruit so it bursts and releases extra flavor.
• Fill mug with ice, add 1 shot of vodka, 2 shots of cran-orange syrup and stir well.
• Top the glass with ginger beer. Stir again, and top with more fresh cranberries, orange, and rosemary, if desired. Cheers!
