Description

I often make a big batch of these peanut butter-flavored cereal bars on days that I dont want to heat up the kitchen. Kids especially love them, so theyre great for picnics, potlucks and school bake sales. —Jane Thompson, Eureka, Illinois

I would would make these for sure. But definitely not for school, too many kids with peanut allergies

Try with half the sugar and corn syrup, doubling the peanut butter. We are the guardians of sweet snacks for our children and grandchildren., so its up tp us to lower the chances of obesity and diabetes, not to mention the many other health problems years doen the road. Ive used a similar variation for many years and know your famlily wont even notice athe taste of a slightly healthier variation.

awe I expected it to be better.

Awesome recipe! Reminds me of Take 5 Candy bars.

quick, easy, and versatile! Easy to change/tailor the recipe to suit your tastes- reeses peices instead of m & ms, cheerios instead of rice krispies, so many options! Love the cheating with the microwave and not having to use the stove- genius!

easy and fun to make with young children. Everyone loved them including the adults

these are excellent! i made them for a family reunion, and i didnt want to share them. i will be making these again. they are very easy to make.

These were okay. The kids liked these but the adults did not. I think if I were to make these again, I would use 3/4 c. peanut butter to add more flavor and maybe use Cheerios instead of Rice Krispies. I liked the idea of using pretzels since I like the sweet and salty combo but was not thrilled with this recipe.

These were a huge hit with my family. The only thing I did differently was drop the mixture onto waxed paper to make individual no bake cookies!! We love to take these camping!! Yummy!!!

These are so easy to make & taste great!! Our church youth group love these, there is never any left! Thanks for sharing your recipe!!
