Dairy Free Brownie Batter Ice Cream

  • 2 11 ounce containers So delicious culinary coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup
  • 5 tbsp Vegan buttery spread

  • 4 1/4 tbsp Cane sugar, organic
  • 3 1/2 tbsp Cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 cup Spelt flour, white
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract

Ingredients

• ½ cup white spelt flour (or flour of your choice)*
• 5 Tablespoons melted vegan buttery spread, melted
• 4¼ Tablespoons organic cane sugar
• 3½ Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
• Two 11 ounce containers of So Delicious Culinary Coconut Milk*
• ½ cup maple syrup
• 1 Tablespoon vanilla extract
• pinch of salt

Directions

• Place the ingredients for the brownie batter into a bowl and stir well. If the flour you use makes the batter too dry, add a little more melted buttery spread. Place the batter into the refrigerator to chill.
• Put the culinary coconut milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt in your ice cream maker.
• Process according to the manufacturers instructions.
• Once the ice cream is done processing, stop the machine and stir in the brownie batter.
• Serve immediately, or store in the freezer. If you store in the freezer, you will need to allow time for the ice cream to thaw slightly before eating.
