Ingredients

• 1 stick butter, melted
• 1/2 cup white sugar
• 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/3 cup cocoa powder
• 1/2 cup flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 - 4oz bar Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Baking Bar, coursely chopped

Directions

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a pan by placing parchment paper in the bottom. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside. In a large bowl mix together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder. Set aside. In a medium sized bowl whisk together the melted butter, sugars, and vanilla. Whisk in the eggs until combined. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry, stir together until just combined. Gently fold in chocolate chunks and then spread batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes, lift the brownies from the pan, using the parchment paper, and allow to cool completely before cutting.
