Easy Peppermint Chocolate Cream Pie

Ingredients

• 1 Large package of instant chocolate pudding
• 16oz container of whipped topping
• 1 graham cracker pie crust
• 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
• milk (as directed on your instant pudding)
• 1 crushed candy cane
• chocolate shavings

Directions

• Mix the chocolate instant pudding mix with the amount of milk as directed on the package for making pudding (not pie). Mix for the time directed. Add the peppermint extract and mix till just combined.
• Add about 1/3 of the whipped topping to the chocolate pudding and fold until combined.
• Pour the pudding mixture into the graham cracker pie crust. Place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
• Top pie with the remaining whipped topping. Finish with crushed candy canes and chocolate shavings if desired.
• Place back in refrigerator till ready to serve.
