Ingredients

  • 1 cup of tiger nut milk - antibacterial, rich in minerals and healthy fats. Tiger nut milk is traditionally used as a liver tonic and digestive aid.
  • 1 teaspoon of great lakes gelatin (red can) - soothes inflammation and repairs leaky gut by restoring the mucosal barrier.
  • 1.5 teaspoons of ground cinnamon - anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties.
  • A pinch of ground cloves
  • A pinch of ground nutmeg

Directions

  • Follow The Tiger Nut Milk tutorial on Emmas blog for the Tiger Nut Milk base. Add the gelatin to a mug with a tablespoon of the milk and stir immediately. Add the spices to this and mix to create a thick paste. Gently warm the remaining milk in a saucepan over a very low heat until small bubbles form. You do not want this to get too hot or the milk will thicken. Add the warm milk to your paste and mix thoroughly. Serve immediately for a comforting, tummy loving festive hug in a mug!
