Gingerbread House Milkshakes

  • 4 cups Vanilla ice cream

  • 3 Gingerbread man cookies or gingerbread man fudge

Ingredients

• 1.25 cups milk
• 4 cups vanilla ice cream
• 1 tsp ground ginger spice
• ½ tsp cinnamon
• ¼ tsp nutmeg
• ⅛ tsp ground cloves
• 1 cup vanilla frosting
• optional: leftover gingerbread fudge, gingerbread cookies
• optional: 3 shots of bourbon
• Whipped cream:
• 1 cup heavy whipping cream
• 1 Tbsp sugar
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup gumdrops
• 1-2 graham cracker sheets
• 3 gingerbread man cookies or gingerbread man fudge

Directions

• First, make your gingerbread man cookies or fudge.
• Next, make your whipped cream. Stick your bowl in the freezer for 10 minutes, then remove and add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, 1 Tbsp sugar, and 1 tsp vanilla. Whip on medium-high in your stand mixer until peaks forms. Add your whipped cream to a pastry bag outfitted with a fancy tip. Set aside in the refrigerator until ready to use.
• Then garnish your glasses. Use a knife to add vanilla frosting to the rim of each glass, then press gumdrops and graham cracker crumbles into the frosting. Chill the glasses in the freezer while you make your milkshakes. Next, top 3 skewer sticks with gingerbread man fudge or cookies to stick on top.
• To make your milkshake, blend your milk, ice cream, and spices in a blender. If youre making it boozy, add 3 shots of bourbon. If you want to add optional gingerbread cookies or fudge, add them in! Then pour your milkshake, top with whipped cream, add a straw and your gingerbread man on a stick. Serve and enjoy!
