Directions

• Line an 8 x 8 pan with parchment paper and then lightly spray the paper with nonstick spray. This will help in easy removal of the brownies.
• Preheat the oven according to brownie mix instructions.
• In a large bowl, prepare the brownies according to the brownie mix instructions.
• Coarsely chop or crush the Oreos. You can crush or chop them as large or as fine as you like. I like some bigger chunks in these brownies.
• Mix the chopped oreos and 1/3 cup of the M&Ms into the batter.
• The batter will be thick! Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle the remaining 1/3 cup of M&Ms evenly over the top of the brownies.
• Bake according to the directions for an 8 x 8 pan. Ever so slightly under-baking these brownies makes them ultra fudgy and keeps the cookies softer throughout the batch.
• Unwrap the sandwich cookies. Place three down on a parchment-lined pan.
• Spread the tops of each sandwich cookie evenly with the frosting (Disperse the 1/2 cup evenly among the three sandwiches). Scale the amount up or down to personal taste preferences - I like a thick frosting layer!
• Place the remaining three sandwich cookies on top of the frosting and press down to secure. Scrape away any of the frosting that oozes out off.
• Using a spatula, spread the completely thawed whipped topping around and on top of the cakes in an even layer. The container should cover all three cakes so long as it isnt applied too thick. If it is pretty thick, you may need extra
• Top with sprinkles if desired.
• Cover the pan without touching the cakes and place in the freezer to harden up for 20-30 minutes.
• These are best served the same day you make them otherwise they tend to get a bit soggy.
