Ingredients

  • 1 slab Smithfield® Tender Back Ribs
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup + 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions

  • In a medium bowl, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard, and 1/2 cup dark brown sugar.
  • Lay ribs in large baking dish.
  • Pour ketchup mixture on top of ribs.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
  • Remove ribs from refrigerator, and still covered, bake ribs for 1 hour.
  • Remove ribs from oven.
  • Sprinkle with garlic powder and 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar, and slice into individual ribs.
  • Lay ribs on prepared grill, cover, and cook low and slow until completely done.
  • Serve warm.
