Just three offbeat ingredients add up to one unique, delectable, no-bake treat. These super-easy, sweet-and-salty candy clusters make for merry munching during holiday trips or parties. They travel well in containers without melting or getting soft. —Donna Brockett, Kingfisher, Oklahoma
This definitely deserves 5 stars. It is simple and quick. Its also delicious. My local store was out of the baking chocolate bars so I used Ghiradelli white chocolate baking chips and they worked great. For simplicity, I placed mini muffin liners in mini muffin tins before dropping by tablespoonfuls. It made for easier transport to the fridge to set. I have made this several times and have got the 3 dozen each time. I think the size depends on what size you crunch the potato chips and nuts.Taste of Home Volunteer Field Editor
The 5 star rating for this recipe is easily earned. Just 3 Ingredients never tasted so good. The Mixture quickly sets up which makes it a perfect choice for a last minute treat. The small clusters are sweet, salty and slightly crunchy. Be sure to double the recipe as the original makes under 2 dozen treats. I dressed mine up with a few chocolate chips just to add a bit of color and I also added a tsp of Vanilla to the melted white chocolate. It has been requested for next years Tray of Chocolates.Taste of Home Volunteer Field Editor
I made these for a party last night and they are not only quick and easy but delicious. I followed the recipe but my white chocolate came in a 20 oz. package so I just cut it in half. The recipe only made 20 clusters. I will probably double it next time. We loved the sweet/salty flavor. I highly recommend this recipe as a Volunteer Field Editor.
Several people asked for recipe at a party where I took them. I used a mix of dark & mint chocolate chips....didnt have white chocolate on hand. They were terrific! Thanks for this recipe.
These are VERY tasty & i agree with Bonnmarche...betcha cant eat just one! first batch I made I followed the directions to a T. Second batch I made with milk chocolate and walnuts. Not nearly as good as the white chocolate. The white tasted very light. LOVE these little babies!
I love these! I made it as the directions said and then this weekend my son reminded me that he was supposed to take something for his FFA bake sale. I decided to dip whole potato chips individually in white chocolate and then drizzled them with some melted semi-sweet chips. We dipped a few as 1/2 & 1/2. The crumbs I mixed as samples to get people hooked. Everyone loved them and they sold out in no time!
Sweet and Salty. I dare you eat just one. :)
My grandson prefers a no salt potato chip over regular salted, or lightly salted chips.
Love your recipes. Always find something I want to try
Yes! It is that easy! And everyone will be talking about them. Even people who THINK they won't like them can't eat just one. The first time I made them following directions exactly but had to substitute M&Ms for the nuts. Now I wouldn't dream of not adding candy-- using seasonal color gives that extra touch. Like others, I made out of need to use up chips, now they are a favorite!
