Quick Chipotle Peanut Sauce

  • 2 tbsp Chipotle in adobo puree

  • 1 cup Peanut butter, natural

  • 1 tsp Cumin

• Liquids

  • 1 1/2 cup Water

Description

Ingredients

• 1 t cumin
• 1 c natural peanut butter
• 1 1/2 c water, divided
• 2 T chipotle in adobo puree

Directions

• Toast cumin briefly in a small heavy pan over medium heat.
• Add one cup of water and peanut butter. Stir until peanut butter melts in smoothly, and then until the sauce thickens. Add the rest of the water, and stir until the sauce is thick.
• Add chipotle puree, and stir well.
• Removed from heat and let rest until ready to use.
