Reese's Peanut Butter Cookie Cake

Ingredients

• Cookie: 1/2 cup butter
• 3/4 cup light brown sugar
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup peanut butter
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 3/4 cups flour
• 3/4 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 cup peanut butter cups, chopped (from 12 oz bag)
• 3/4 cup chocolate chips
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/4 cup shortening
• 2 cups powdered cocoa
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1-2 Tbsp water
• rest of reeses, chopped
• chocolate sauce

Directions

• Cream butter and sugars together, 3 minutes. Mix in the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Add flour and baking soda, combine together. Stir in peanut butter cups and chocolate chips. Preheat oven to 350 F. Line 9 inch cake pan with parchment paper and grease sides. Press dough into the pan and bake 20 minutes. Remove fro moven and allow to cool for 15 minutes.
• Beat shortening and butter until smooth. Slowly add 1 cup powdered sugar, mix well. Mix in the vanilla extract & 1 Tbsp water. Add cocoa and the rest of the powdered sugar and mix until smooth. Add more water to get the correct consistency.
• spread chocolate icing on top. Add remaining reeses to the top. Drizzle chocolate sauce over top. Store in an airtight container.
