Simple Shrimp Scampi

  • 1 lb Shrimp, jumbo

  • 1 tsp Flat-leaf parsley
  • 1 tsp Garlic

  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice, fresh

  • 1 Angel hair pasta

  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes

  • 2 tbsp Butter, unsalted

Description

Ingredients

• 1 pound jumbo shrimp, shelled and deveined
• 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
• 1 tsp minced garlic
• 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
• ¼ white whine
• 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1 tsp flat leaf parsley
• Angel hair pasta, cooked to your liking

Directions

• Wash and dry your shrimp completely with a paper towel.
• Add the butter to a large skillet over medium heat and melt.
• Add the shrimp and cook for about a minute without moving them.
• Add the garlic and cook for 1 more minute.
• Turn the shrimp and cook an additional 2 minutes.
• Remove the shrimp from pan.
• Return the skillet to the heat and add wine and lemon juice until boiling.
• Scrape up any brown bits!
• Add the parsley.
• Pour the sauce over the shrimp.
• Divide the shrimp amongst the plates and serve with pasta.
