    • 1 Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper

    • 3 cups Gruyere cheese, grated
    • 1 1/2 cups Heavy cream

I prepared this for a dinner party. I followed all instructions. What came out of the oven, looked and smelled great. However, the potatoes were slightly underdone, and there was too much liquid after sitting for 10min prior to serving. My recommendations (which I will incorporate when preparing this again) are: Cook sliced potatoes in microwave oven for 5-7 min before immersing in warm cream Reduce cream amount to 1 1/4 C Seasonings and flavor were excellent.
