• Food Coloring

Directions

• Start off with your basic sugar cookie dough. Divide the dough into three equal-ish parts (it doesnt have to be exact) each in their own bowl. Add your desired food coloring to each bowl and mix well. I did: light brown, medium brown, and olive green. Allow dough to chill in the refrigerator for about an hour. Take a small pinch of each color and lightly roll into a ball. Place each ball on the cookie sheet and bake and cool according to the directions for your dough. Return the dough to the fridge between batches, or if you notice that it begins to get too sticky.
