Caramel Pretzel Bites

Ingredients

• 12 ounces Chocolate candy coating wafers
• 4 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
• 1 package Pretzels (small round shape)
• 1 package Caramel Bits (could use individually wrapped caramel candies instead)
• 3 tablespoons Heavy Cream
• Decorative sprinkles

Directions

• Follow instructions on bag to melt chocolate candy coating in microwave. (One minute at 50% power, stir, repeat until smooth)
• Drop candy coating onto wax paper about 1/2 teaspoon, or a dollop the size of a nickel or quarter.
• Place one pretzel into candy coating, making sure that candy fills in all the holes in the pretzel. Allow to dry until firm.
• Place caramel bits and heavy cream into glass bowl. Cook in microwave until melted. (One minute at 50% power, stir, repeat until smooth)
• Drop kidney bean sized dollop of caramel onto each pretzel. It's helpful to use two teaspoons, one using the caramel off of the other.
• Drop each pretzel into the melted candy coating caramel side down, then use a fork to flip over and coat completely. Use a fork to lift the pretzel out of the chocolate and allow the excess to drip off before placing gently onto wax paper.
• Top with decorative sprinkles.
• Allow to air dry at room temperature until fully set, about 20 minutes.
• Store in airtight container up to 4 weeks.
